Tom is a widely networked dot-joiner, focusing on the Australian food system, with decades of experience helping design, develop and deliver projects based on connections and cooperation

With over 30 years’ experience delivering Research, Development and Implementation within the agrifood and aquaculture sectors, Tom’s project focus revolves around his connection with the food value-adding sector, and in managing projects and helping people – be they grouped by organisation, sector, community or region – to work together to achieve common goals.

On his journey to this point, Tom has played key roles in commercial and academic aquaculture and food safety organisations, ranging from hands-on development and design of technical operations to strategic management.

Tom is a co-founder of FermenTasmania, Oysters Tasmania, the Allergen Bureau and the Stable Food Group.
